I'm collecting ideas.

If you were to create a mod for Lineage 2 which makes monsters/NPCs in (custom) instances to scale with player level how would you do it? What do you think one would have to change/tweak to make it work?

Example:
You get into an instance and before spawning the monsters, the server calculates the average level of your party and then spawns the default monsters from the database but edits/upgrades their stats to reflect the power/level of your party.
 
How about just players base stats changing? It's similar to GW2 system when your level and stats decrease to zone level.

Also you can use character stats table as a base and add/multiply some stats depending on role (mage, warrior etc). Or you can just create separate stats table for some monsters/groups/roles.
