Need some help about edit engine.dll

I would like to know more info about how to add this Interlude - Добавляем подсветку дропа в Engine.dll
to my custom rb jews for example. Or to any item. I tried few times but seems like I need more information how to do this correctly.
I will be thankful if someone helps me to figure out how to add the code correctly.

I understand only how to add the effect to the item, but the process before that I didn't understand.
I need to know how to find the Item ID code. For example the adena ID 57.
How to edit/replace the HEX code of it.

This offsets are current. U should in HxD editor open engine.dll, click Ctrl + G, and go to offset 5A05E8. In this offset u must to edit path to animation. Example:

If HxD warns that the file size can be changed, u click "Cancel". U can't change the file size.

hmm okey but how to find any custom item id? Like my item ID is 16000 and I want to add this effect.
Also thanks now I almost understand what is going on with the effects and the 8bit code.

Sorry but I'm still confused where to put the violet ray for example ..

One more thing how to add the effect to weapons/armors? I didn't see this in the tutorial of the guy who shared it.
